Retrofit

A retrofit can give your trusted machine a new lease of life!

Machines are sometimes too readily regarded as only being fit for the scrap heap. Stoppages resulting from faults can be a reason to replace a machine tool, hoisting mechanism, crane or laser cutting machine.

However, if the machine, crane or laser cutting machine is still in good condition from a mechanical point of view, a retrofit can make it usable for many years to come.

A retrofit can consist of:

• Replacing the existing machine controls
• Replacing drive systems
• Replacing the complete electrical installation
• Conversion from a conventionally controlled machine to a PLC / CNC controlled machine
